Unit 2 - Geography
We are moving on in EES to a review of World geography. We will then move to US and local geography. You will be expected to be able to identify the 7 continents and 5 oceans, locate and identify some important regions of the world, locate and identify specific countries with their capitals and locate and identify the 50 states and their capitals in the US. We will then move to NC geography and take a closer look at the different regions of NC.
We will practice using latitude and longitude for additional activities. If you have a hand held GPS that we can use in class, please see me. I would like to set up a Geocaching activity for the class to do.
Hopefully this review will give you a better understand of each of these areas as we continue our study of Earth and Environmental Science topics.
